As the Creative Director at Cyberian Outpost, Jeffrey Wiener was responsible for the development of a new brand image for the company. Strategy change included renaming the business to Outpost.com, development of a new visual identity for the consumer experience, the corporate identity system, and the investor presentations leading up to the company's IPO.

The challenge for Outpost.com at the early stages of the Dot Com Boom, was to differentiate themselves from the blander hardware and software retailers, using a strong, edgy style of humor. The culmination of this effort was an award-winning series of 30 second spots developed by the agency Cliff Freeman and Partners, which ran during the Superbowl of 1997.
