As
the Creative Director at Cyberian Outpost, I was responsible
for the development of a new brand image for the company.
This included the renaming to Outpost.com, a new visual identity
for the consumer presentation, the corporate identity system,
and the investor presentations leading up to the IPO.
•
The challenge for Outpost.com at the early stages of the Dot
Com Boom, was to differentiate themselves from the blander
hardware and software retailers, using a strong, edgy style
of humor across it's media lanscape.
•
The
culmination of this effort was an award-winning series of
30 second spots developed by the agency Cliff Freeman and
Partners, which ran during the Superbowl of 1997. |
